I've recently got a new PC running Windows 11, but I salvaged the hard drives from my old Windows 10 machine that was destroyed. I don't have the old PC anymore, only the drives. Microsoft backed up my system settings, but I didn't use OneDrive, so my apps didn't transfer. Is there a straightforward way to move all my old data, including applications, from these drives to my new PC? Ideally, I'd love a free solution, but I'm open to other options.

You can plug your old drives into the new PC directly or get a USB adapter for them. While some apps might work if simply copied over, most will need their installers run again.
Why not just reinstall the apps instead? You can get a hard drive adapter and connect the old drive to transfer files without needing to move the programs themselves.
There's no "easy" method, but you can definitely connect both hard drives to your new PC and look for the files you need. Moving applications works too, but since Windows isn't standardized, you'll likely have to transfer them one by one.
