I've got a Gen 3 SSD that I've been using in my old laptop, and now I want to move it to my new laptop. The thing is, Windows is already installed on that SSD. Could anyone guide me on how to format it properly for the new laptop and set it up?

Are you looking to keep any files from your old SSD or are you making it a secondary drive? If it's just for Windows, then the above method works great! Good luck with the transfer!
First, put the SSD into your new laptop. Once it's installed, you can do a secure erase from the BIOS, which will wipe everything on it. After that, just use a Windows installer USB to set up Windows fresh on the SSD.
