Hey everyone, I've got an Intel i7-14700k, but my Pure Rock 2 cooler isn't cutting it and can't keep the temperatures down. I won't be able to buy a new cooler for another month, so I'm looking for advice on how to undervolt my CPU in the meantime to help manage the heat while still maintaining decent performance. Also, if you have recommendations for coolers under 100 euros, I'd love to hear them! I have an ASUS Prime B760M-K DDR5 motherboard, but I'm struggling to follow the undervolting guides since my BIOS settings look different. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks a lot!

Just as a heads-up, I’ve found that using the CPU with turbo off helps a lot for cooling. So when you're undervolting, see if it's even necessary to keep turbo mode on.
If you're looking for a new cooler, you don't have to break the bank. The Thermalright Phantom Spirit is around 40 euros and would offer way better cooling than what you currently have. Just keep in mind it might struggle with the i7-14700K under heavy loads, so it’s a temporary fix.
You might want to consider these steps to undervolt until your new cooler arrives:
1. In the BIOS, find and set `CPU Core/Cache Current Limit Max` to 65W.
2. Adjust `Long Duration Package Power Limit` to 65W as well.
3. Do the same for `Short Duration Package Power Limit` at 65W.
These tweaks should help limit power draw and keep the heat down. But keep an eye on performance—it might be best with turbo mode turned off though!
