How to uninstall apps stuck after deleting program folders in Windows 11?

I was trying to clear some space on my laptop and mistakenly deleted app folders directly from the 'Program Files' section. Now, when I try to uninstall these apps via the settings, I get an error because it can't find the uninstall files. Is there a way to resolve this issue, or am I stuck with these apps forever? I realize now that wasn't the best approach!

You definitely shouldn't delete those folders directly. It can lead to issues like the one you're facing. A good option is to try a repair install of the apps, if that's possible. Sometimes this can help fix the uninstallation process for them.

You're facing a common issue because when those folders were deleted, Windows is now looking for a shortcut that’s gone. Using a tool like Revo Uninstaller is a solid approach, as it can help you perform a 'Forced Uninstall' and clean up any leftover entries from your applications list.

Since the uninstallation files are missing after your deletion, one way to get rid of them is to delete the entire folder. Alternatively, consider using a program like Revo Uninstaller, which not only helps uninstall apps but also cleans up their registry entries. It's a handy tool!
