How to Upgrade My PC on a Budget?

Hey everyone! I've had my PC for about 7 years now, and it's struggling to maintain 144fps in most games. Here are my current specs:

- CPU: Intel i7-9700k 3.6GHz
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2060 8GB Gaming OC
- Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z390 Gaming
- RAM: 32GB (2x16) 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance DDR4
- PSU: 750W Gold
- CPU Fan: Be Quiet big block
- Case: Thermaltake Core P3 White

I've been told that my GPU is likely still decent, but I should consider upgrading my motherboard and CPU. However, moving to a new motherboard probably means I'll need DDR5 RAM, which is super expensive—16GB of DDR5 costs around $350!

I have a budget of $700 CAD, but I'm confused about whether I should stick with an older motherboard and CPU combo or take the plunge on a newer one. I've saved up birthday and Christmas gifts for 3 years to make this upgrade happen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, upgrading your GPU could give you the biggest bang for your buck right now, especially with how RAM prices are. Your performance could really improve without needing to completely overhaul your system.
