Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my laptop. It has 16 GB of RAM installed, but it's only recognizing and utilizing 8 GB. Does anyone know what I can do to enable the full 16 GB of RAM?

Also, check if you have a 32-bit operating system installed. If your OS is 32-bit, it can only use a maximum of 4 GB of RAM. You might need to switch to a 64-bit operating system to utilize all 16 GB.
First things first, check your BIOS or UEFI settings. Sometimes, you need to make sure that it's configured to use all the available RAM. Just restart your laptop and get into the BIOS settings to confirm it's detecting the full 16 GB. If it's already showing 16 GB but you can’t change any settings, that’s a bit strange.
