My HP Envy laptop has suddenly stopped charging. I've tried reinserting the charging tip and power cable into the power pack, as well as switching outlets, but nothing is working. I've already ordered a replacement power pack and first tried switching the power cable, then replacing the entire pack, but that didn't help either. I also removed the battery, and the laptop won't start at all. I'm currently waiting for a new OEM battery to arrive. If that doesn't solve the issue, I'm wondering if most mainboards have a removable charging port, or will I need to replace the whole motherboard?

Have you checked if a light near the charging port comes on when you plug it in? If it does, what color is it – solid or flashing? Some HP Envy models actually have a removable charging port, so it’s worth looking up your specific model for more details.
I had a similar issue with my HP. Make sure to confirm which model you have because that can change whether the charging port is removable or not. It's also possible that the motherboard could be the problem if neither the power pack nor battery fixes it.
