I recently lost my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite on a flight from Honolulu to Narita. I was using it to watch movies and ended up falling asleep. When it was time to get off the plane, I think I left it behind either in the seat pocket or in the magazine compartment. I've already filled out a Lost & Found form with Hawaiian Airlines and I'm waiting to hear back. Assuming the tablet is permanently lost, how bad is my situation? It's a WiFi-only device, and I'm worried that someone might be able to brute force my password since I use an Android line drawing password. I've reset the passwords for my important accounts, including Google, and I think Samsung has a feature that can lock my device if it connects to WiFi. However, I didn't enable the factory reset option on Google since there's still a chance Hawaiian Airlines may reach out regarding the Lost & Found. This is my first time losing a tech device, and I'm feeling pretty anxious about it!

If you've changed your passwords, you're in a pretty good spot honestly! Just to be on the safe side, I’d definitely suggest resetting the device remotely as soon as it connects to WiFi. That way, you can lock it down completely, even if you're not seeing it on Find My Device yet since it’s WiFi-only.
Can you explain how that remote reset works if it's offline? I thought it only happens once it connects to WiFi. I'm just afraid that someone might tamper with it.
