I've got Windows 11 on my laptop, and it's been acting up lately. A few days ago, it had trouble booting up, but I managed to fix that. However, it happened again the next day. I tried everything in Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), but none of the commands worked. The automatic repairs needed WiFi, but despite entering the correct password, it wouldn't connect. After leaving for a few days, I returned to it, tried some more commands, and now I can't even access WinRE. I've checked BIOS, boot settings, and ran various tests, all of which came back fine apart from the battery, which I'm not sure relates to the issue. I suspect it's something with the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) or the hard drive, but I can't find any solutions online. I'd really appreciate any help with this!

Before you dive into any major fixes, make sure you have backups of your data. Changing system settings can sometimes lead to data loss. If you’re not familiar with the BIOS, I recommend checking our FAQ thread for guidance on troubleshooting Windows 11 issues first!
I understand your frustration! Without a USB stick, your options are limited. The reality is, reinstalling Windows is often the easiest fix when troubleshooting. It's true that figuring out bugs can be a mess with all the updates happening. If you can't get it working without a reinstall, it might be time to explore replacing hardware like your SSD if nothing else works.
Definitely, it might be your best option. If your recovery partition is gone, then a USB install will be necessary to get back on track.

Yeah, unfortunately, that's the case. If you can get your hands on a USB stick, just grab a fresh copy of Windows and try the reinstall.
