Is 2x 24GB DDR5 5600MHz CL46 RAM a Good Deal for 180 Euros?

I'm considering purchasing 2x 24GB of DDR5 RAM at 5600MHz with a CL46 for around 180 Euros. I understand that CL46 is pretty low-performance, but given the current spike in prices, I'm wondering if this is worth it. Should I just go for it and maybe try overclocking it if it's not performing well, or should I hold out for a better deal? I definitely need DDR5 for my new build.

I came across the same deal! Did you go ahead and order it?

Yeah! I'm just waiting for it to arrive—it’ll take about a week. I’m still checking for better deals, but if I don't find anything, I think I can live with it.

It depends on your CPU. If you plan to get one with a larger cache, like the 7600X3D, it might handle slower RAM better than others. Just saying, RAM speed isn’t everything when paired with the right processor!

Honestly, it’s not the best RAM out there, but for that price, it should still perform well enough for most tasks. You’ll likely be fine using it.
