I'm looking to upgrade my current setup from an i7-8700 with 16GB of RAM. I found a bundle for $300 that includes an MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC motherboard, an Intel Core i9-9900K, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. I'm planning to pair this with an RTX 3060 Ti mainly for gaming and some general use. Do you think this is a good deal? Will this be a noticeable upgrade from my current build?

That bundle is decent for the price, but don't expect an enormous leap in performance over your i7-8700. Alternatives exist, especially in AM4 with the Ryzen 5000 series that might be around the same price in used condition. If your i7 is meeting your needs, it might be worth holding on to it a bit longer instead of rushing to upgrade.
I totally get that! My current motherboard is also giving me trouble, so I was thinking about the upgrade as well. Just wanted to ensure I got the best bang for my buck!
