I'm wondering if having 64GB of RAM without a dedicated GPU is considered overkill, especially since I mostly play MMORPGs on low or minimum settings. My HDD has been running into some blue screen issues, and I suspect it might be related to the load, but I'm not entirely sure. Can the extra RAM help with these performance issues, or affect my in-game frames per second (FPS)? Just a note, I can't afford to get a GPU at the moment.

Definitely go for an SSD! It will change your gaming experience. Moving from 32GB to 64GB RAM just for gaming won’t give you a big boost; stick to upgrading your storage first.
If your BSODs are due to your HDD, just adding RAM won't help, and you might want to troubleshoot the HDD itself. A system with 64GB of RAM is indeed overkill for gaming unless you’re running serious applications. Think about upgrading to an SSD; the performance boost is massive!
It sounds like you're mixing up a few issues. Blue screens are usually caused by hardware failures or software bugs, not just system load. Adding more RAM won't fix BSODs if they’re really related to your HDD. But yes, 64GB is quite a lot for gaming alone; most games won’t even use that much. If you want better performance, I’d focus on getting a good SSD first instead of stressing over RAM.
Yeah, once you’ve got enough RAM, adding more doesn’t give you a noticeable difference in gaming performance. You’re better off with a solid SSD to run your games and OS from. It’ll improve loading times significantly!
Honestly, unless you're doing heavy multitasking or creative tasks, 32GB is usually plenty for gaming. Investing in an RX 6600 or a decent GPU would give you a much better gaming experience than just slapping more RAM in there.
Exactly! An SSD can really speed things up. You won’t see much difference going from 32GB to 64GB for gaming, but an SSD will make everything feel snappier.
