I recently downloaded 7-Zip from the official website, but when I checked it on VirusTotal, it flagged the file stating that 1 out of 72 security vendors considered it malicious. The alert was from Bkav ProW64.AIDetectMalware. Should I be worried about this?

Those flags often come from AI-based detection systems that can be a bit too aggressive. Unless you see a significant number of detections, like 40 or 50, it's usually fine. Almost any executable can trigger a false positive, so don't stress too much about it.
7-Zip is generally safe, especially if you downloaded it from the official site. A 1/72 flag on VirusTotal typically indicates a false positive. Most antivirus programs are good with 7-Zip, and as long as you didn’t download it from a sketchy site, you should be all good! Just keep your eyes peeled for anything unusual after installation.
7-Zip? Wow, people still use that? I’m just thinking about whether I still have my old ZIP drive lying around!
