I'm wondering if $805 is a reasonable price for a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5070 Gaming OC. The MSRP is around $500, so is this pricing way off the mark?

No, that's not a good deal at all. Recently, there have been reports of the RTX 5070 selling for its MSRP of about $550, so paying $805 is definitely above what you should be spending.
Heck no, that's way too much! At that price, you could even consider getting a 5070 Ti, which is a better deal.
Saw a 9070 XT Sapphire Pulse for $790 recently. If you're considering spending $805, you might want to look into that instead.
Honestly, that's a pretty horrible price. I'd say avoid it unless you're extremely desperate for a new GPU. There are better options in that price range.
Here where I live, the 5070 was initially priced at around $1500, dropped to $1000, and is now trending down to about $850. It’s surprising that so many overpriced GPUs are just sitting on shelves!
Exactly, you can find 5070 Ti for roughly the same price, so it makes no sense to settle for a 5070 at that price.
