I recently upgraded my RAM with my dad's help and ended up with two sets: 8x2 GB of Corsair Vengeance at 2133 MT/s and 32x2 GB of another DDR4 RAM. A friend mentioned that having 80GB of the slower RAM might be better or comparable to just 32GB of faster RAM. I'm not very experienced with this, so I might not be explaining it well. What do you think?

In general, if you don't specifically need 80GB of RAM, the 32GB of faster RAM would typically be better for performance, especially in tasks that require quick access to data.
If your setup is Intel, the RAM will likely only run at 2133 MT/s anyway unless you have an overclocking-capable motherboard. With an AMD Ryzen 7, you might have more flexibility for RAM speeds, so keep that in mind while considering your options.
Thanks for the info! I'll definitely look into what my motherboard can handle.

I hear you! I play modded Minecraft too, and I ran into crashes due to low memory. Sometimes, more RAM helps, but faster RAM can really boost performance too!
