I'm looking to add a 2nd M.2 NVMe SSD to my MSI B650M Gaming WIFI motherboard, but I have a few questions. First, will my RX 7800 XT GPU fit alongside this additional SSD? Also, I've heard that the 2nd M.2 slot doesn't have a heat sink. Can anyone recommend a good budget-friendly heat sink that I could use?

The MSI B650M Gaming WIFI actually does come with heatsinks on both M.2 slots. So you'll be all set on that front!

I don’t own the B650M but I have an MSI Z690 with a similar setup. I've got three M.2 drives installed, and while my board has heat sink covers, I did need to buy an extra thermal pad for my third drive. You shouldn't have trouble finding a basic M.2 heatsink that won’t conflict with your GPU. Here’s one that looks good: [basic M.2 heatsink](https://www.newegg.com/p/1B0-023E-00009). It should do the trick!

Yes, you can install a 2nd M.2 NVMe SSD on the MSI B650M Gaming WIFI motherboard without any issues. There’s no lane sharing, so performance should remain the same. As for fitting in your RX 7800 XT GPU, you might want to try running it without a heat sink at first to see if temperatures stay manageable. If you do opt for a heat sink, make sure to get a low-profile one to avoid clearance problems with the GPU. For a budget-friendly option, check out this [heatsink](https://www.amazon.com/GLOTRENDS-NVMe-Heatsink-M-2-2280/dp/B076YZMQR5) that’s only 3mm thick, or you could also consider this slimmer one [here](https://www.amazon.com/Heatsink-Haojiaho-67x18x1-5mm-Cooling-Silicone/dp/B0CWNKFWLJ). You might want to buy both to test and return the one that doesn’t fit.
