I'm considering purchasing a new MSI RTX 5060ti with 8GB for $300. I've heard that 8GB models can be overpriced, but I'm looking for some advice on whether this price is reasonable. It'll be paired with either a 7600x or a 7600 3DX CPU. What do you all think?

Buying a new 8GB card might not be the best move unless it fulfills a specific gaming need. It really depends on your overall setup and what games you love to play.
As someone who's newer to this, I can say my 8GB 2060 works fine for now, but I do worry about it becoming outdated quickly. If you can find something better, maybe wait a bit?
Honestly, $300 for that GPU is a pretty good deal if you're okay with 8GB of VRAM. Just keep in mind that certain games may require more memory in the future, but if it fits your budget and needs, why not go for it?
Yeah, but think about the long-term. Having only 8GB could limit your gaming experience down the road. You might want to save a bit more for better options.
For $300, if it's all you can afford right now, it's decent. You should be able to play most games reasonably well with it!
If you're mostly gaming at 1080p and not maxing settings, the 8GB should be fine for now. Just remember, you might get better performance from something like a used 3080 for a bit more money.
But isn't it risky to buy used? The market is so unpredictable right now.

Exactly! Sometimes it's better to think about the whole system rather than just one part.
