Is a $480 RTX 4090 Too Good to Be True?

I'm in the process of building my second PC after several years on a laptop. While searching for used GPUs, I stumbled upon a listing for an RTX 4090 on Facebook Marketplace for just $480. The seller claims it's only been used for four months and has several other tech listings, including parts and complete PCs. I had a good experience buying a used 1080 for my first build, but I'm skeptical. Is this a common scam or a legitimate deal?

No way someone is letting go of a genuine RTX 4090 for $480. I've seen 3090s priced between $600 and $800, and the 40 series GPUs are even pricier. Just doesn’t add up!
