Hey everyone, I've got a 9600X paired with a Peerless Assassin 120SE cooler, and I'm noticing that my CPU idles at around 50°C. That feels a bit high considering I've heard it should run cooler than the 7600X. I've checked, and it's not a thermal paste issue since my temps during gaming stay between 55-70°C. So, is this idle temp normal, or should I be concerned? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, that's pretty much in the normal range for CPUs like yours! It might seem a little toasty, but a lot of people say it's fine. Don't stress too much, especially since you're just starting out with your build.
It does feel a bit on the warmer side though, right? I totally get being anxious since it's your first build. Just keep an eye on those temps!
