Is a 600W Power Supply Enough for My New PC Build?

I recently upgraded my PC by installing an i5-14600k processor, replacing my older i5-10600k. My setup also includes an RX 6750 XT graphics card, a 1TB SSD, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. My current power supply is 600W, and I'm wondering if it's sufficient for powering all of these components safely. Is it advisable to keep using this power supply?

For the longevity of your system, I'd suggest upgrading to a good quality 750W power supply. It’ll give you more headroom and help ensure everything runs smoothly.

A 600W power supply is actually pretty close to what you need. The CPU uses about 181W during peak usage, and when you add the rest of your components, you're likely pushing just over 500W. While it can run like this, it's recommended to have a bit more of a buffer, especially for long-term use.

It's tough to say definitively just based on the PSU's wattage. You're using an EVGA 600W 80+ White, which should be decent, but I'd definitely keep an eye on your system's power demand.
