I'm using an Antec 650W power supply that's 80 Plus Standard certified (Model X3000A103-18) along with an Intel i5-14400ff processor and 32 GB of Fury RAM. Someone mentioned that my power supply could lead to failures or other issues. Can anyone confirm if this setup is adequate or if I need to upgrade?

That unit is part of the VP Plus series, which isn’t very reliable. I highly recommend looking into a replacement if you can. It could lead to stability issues or even hardware damage in the long run.

It’s good to check up on your PSU. If you're worried, something like the Cougar Atlas 750W 80 Plus Bronze is a solid choice! It could provide you with better reliability and peace of mind.

Yes, a 650W power supply should be enough for your setup. Generally, you might be drawing around 500W max with your GPU and CPU combined. However, the quality of your power supply matters too, and yours isn’t the best around, so consider upgrading at some point.
