I'm about to dive into the world of 9070XT and 9070 graphics cards since prices are finally looking decent. I've got a Seasonic FOCUS GX-650, which is a 650W 80+ Gold PSU, and I usually trust Seasonic's reliability. However, I noticed that the Power Color Reaper recommends at least a 750W PSU for the 9070XT and 700W for the 9070. Some reviews have indicated that the 9070XT can spike up to 320W, which has me a bit worried. I'm less concerned about the 9070 because its power consumption seems comparable to my current 5700XT. Is anyone successfully using a 9070XT with a PSU that's below the recommended wattage? Just to add context, my CPU is a 5700X, it's air-cooled with no overclocking, and I've got two HDDs along with three SSDs.

It really depends on your CPU's power draw. Since the 5700X only pulls about 65W, you should be well within the limits of your PSU even under full load, staying below 75% usage.
A good quality 650W PSU should handle the 9070XT without any issues. Just make sure your other components aren't too power-hungry.
Yeah, I've read that the 5700X is quite efficient! That makes me feel a bit better about it.
