Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my PC and I'm curious if a 650W power supply will be enough for my setup, which includes a 5060 Ti and a Ryzen 5 7500F. What do you think?

Yeah, it's definitely on the edge but not dangerous. You should be okay with 650W for those components, but make sure everything is well-cooled to avoid any issues.

How did you come to that 'on the edge' conclusion? I calculated that with a 7500F at 65W and a max of 180W for the 5060 Ti, that's about 268W total, plus a bit for other components—should be under 308W. Looks like there's still some headroom!

The 5060 Ti has a peak power consumption of about 180W, while the Ryzen 5 7500F uses around 65W. Your total draw should sit around 250-300W when gaming, which should be fine for a 650W PSU. Just keep an eye on it during heavy gaming sessions!
