Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to building PCs and I could really use some advice. I'm thinking about purchasing a 9060 XT with 16GB of VRAM, but I'm unsure if it's a good fit for my current setup. My specs are: Ryzen 5 8600G, 16GB DDR5 RAM (single channel), and an Asus Prime A620M-K motherboard. I mainly game and I'm not looking for ultra settings, just smooth performance and a solid gaming experience. My main worry is that having single-channel RAM might hurt my performance. However, with RAM prices being high right now, I'm tempted to invest in a dedicated GPU first and upgrade to dual-channel RAM later. Do you think the 9060 XT 16GB would work well with my system? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

That GPU would be an excellent match for your system! Once RAM prices come down, you can easily grab a second stick to boost your CPU's performance too.
Definitely go for it!
Absolutely get that dedicated GPU! It’ll make a huge difference. And don’t forget to pick up a second stick of RAM later. I opted to keep my setup and upgraded my GPU, and my performance improved significantly—about an 80% boost in benchmark scores!
Upgrading from integrated graphics to a 9060 XT with 16GB VRAM is a game-changer, no matter your RAM situation!
I highly recommend buying that GPU now. There's a good chance that 16GB VRAM cards will see price spikes in the near future!

Haha, I wish I could buy it now, but I'm planning for March. I just hope prices don't skyrocket again like they did with RAM.
