Is a Non-Modular PSU Compatible with Any Case?

I have a non-modular power supply unit (PSU) that has a large cable coming out of the back. I'm thinking of switching my PC case to the Deepcool CH260 and I've noticed that most people who've built with this case used a fully modular PSU. I'm unsure if my non-modular PSU will work in this case. Any thoughts?

Most cases are designed to fit standard PSU sizes, so your non-modular PSU should work just fine. The whole appeal of modular PSUs is better cable management, which keeps everything tidy and aesthetically pleasing. If you don't mind the bulk of the cable, you're good to go! Just install it and get your build going.

I’ve built in this case and a non-modular PSU fits without any issues. Just a heads-up though, depending on how your PSU is oriented, you might need some angled cables since the PSU is at the front and the power connector is at the back. Ask around for the right type of cable if you need one!

That said, sometimes the cables can be a bit short for optimal cable management. Just be prepared for that; if you’re picky about how it looks inside, you might want to consider additional cables.
