Is a Slightly Bent M.2 SSD Installation Okay?

Hey everyone, I'm new to PC building and just installed an M.2 SSD for the first time. The screw I used was too short, so the SSD is at a slight angle in its slot. I'm wondering if that's okay and if it will function properly this way. Thanks for any advice!

It might work for now, but I wouldn’t trust any storage device that’s got physical damage. I'd recommend replacing it as soon as you can.

I just installed it recently and didn’t notice the angle at first, but I’ve already ordered a longer screw!
