Hey everyone! I'm considering buying an MSI MAG A650BN PSU since it's on sale for £37 today. Initially, I thought about getting the gold version priced at £80, but I've learned that both options are rated as tier C. My setup includes a 5060Ti with 16GB of RAM and a Ryzen 7 9700X, which should draw around 460W in total. I've seen mixed opinions on whether a bronze or tier C PSU is suitable for my build. What do you all think? Is this PSU a reliable choice?

Honestly, a Tier C PSU can handle normal use cases just fine, especially if your build isn't pushing the limits. For your setup, that PSU should work well enough!
I've been building PCs for over 25 years, and honestly, I never really paid attention to those tier lists. Your experience and usage matter more than a label! Just ensure your PSU meets your power needs and you should be good to go.
I get that, but I've heard that tier lists can help you avoid problems in the long run. What do you think about that?
