I'm looking to upgrade my setup since my motherboard has failed and my GPU is outdated (I've been using a GTX 1660 Super). I need a GPU to keep my computer running because my CPU lacks integrated graphics. A friend of mine is offering me his used RTX 3050 with 6GB of VRAM for around $80. I know it's considered a lower-end GPU, but I plan to use it mainly for office work and some light gaming. Do you think this is a good deal at that price?

Totally worth it! I snagged my RTX 3050 for $120 last year before the price hikes, so getting one for $80 is a steal.
For $75, that's a solid deal especially if you're just doing office tasks and some light gaming. Depending on its age, it might still come with a warranty too!
Great price! But if you want something with a bit more power, consider selling your 1660 and going for a 3060 instead if your budget allows.
Honestly, while the price is good, you might not see much of a performance boost. The 3050 8GB isn't much faster than the 1660 Super, so keep that in mind.
It's a pretty decent price, but just so you know, the 3050 6GB actually performs a bit lower than your current 1660 Super. Just make sure you're okay with that.
