I'm in Europe and have been offered a used MSI Gaming X RTX 4060 Ti 8GB in excellent condition for €200. I haven't been able to find an RTX 5060 at a similar price or condition. My main uses are DaVinci Resolve video editing and gaming; I don't play many demanding AAA titles, though I've recently played Forza Horizon 6 and Crimson Desert.
I'm currently using an RX 5700 XT, which takes around 25 minutes to render a one-minute video, paired with an i7-8700K. I may upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5700X soon because I can't currently afford a DDR5 platform. Is the 4060 Ti 8GB still worth buying for €200, or would it be better to wait for a 5060?

The main drawback is the 8GB of VRAM. A 16GB card would be more comfortable for future games and heavier Resolve projects, but that doesn’t automatically make the 8GB 4060 Ti a bad purchase. For your current games and a €200 price, it still seems worthwhile; just avoid paying much more for it.
A used RTX 3080 might offer more performance for roughly €100 extra, but it draws substantially more power. Since your current power supply is an unknown low-cost unit, I’d wait until the replacement quality PSU arrives before considering anything that power-hungry. The 4060 Ti is much easier to run safely and efficiently.
That makes sense. I’m already replacing the bundled PSU with a better-quality, lower-power model, so I’ll avoid a 3080 unless I later upgrade the power supply properly.
