Is an ASRock RX 6600 a Good Upgrade from a GTX 1070?

I'm planning to upgrade from my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 to an ASRock RX 6600 8GB CLD Challenger D. I'm also building a new PC for this setup, but I'm not very knowledgeable about GPUs and their performance differences. I currently have an ASUS PRIME B550M-A (WI-FI) motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor. What do you guys think?

Upgrading to the RX 6600 isn't really considered an upgrade from the GTX 1070. They're pretty close in performance, so you might want to look at stronger options like the RX 5700 or 5700 XT instead. Both can give you better performance without a huge price jump, especially if you're overclocking your CPU. You might need a decent power supply too, around 450 watts for those GPUs. Just something to keep in mind!

Are you suggesting the RX 5700 over the 6600, or are you just comparing the RX 5700 with the GTX 1070?
