I currently own a RTX 3090 but I'm thinking about getting a 1080 Ti just for fun and to compare performance. I found one on Facebook Marketplace for £100 but made an offer of £50, which the seller accepted. It's got 11GB of VRAM, which seems great, but I'm wondering if it's worth that price. Also, if I use it alongside my 9800x3D, will it boost my performance?

It’s a great card for 1080p gaming, so it's definitely worth considering. Just keep in mind that you can't combine multiple GPUs for better performance in games. The 1080 Ti won't elevate your experience over the 3090, but it's still a good deal if you're sure it's in good condition.
The 1080 Ti is still a solid graphics card, and at £50, I'd say you should definitely go for it!
If it works well, £50 is a good price. Just think about whether you’ll actually need it or want it. If you have no plans to use it, spending the £50 might not be necessary.
Absolutely, I'd take it! It's a bargain for what you're getting.
For £50, that's a steal! Keeping a decent GPU around is always smart in case your main one has issues. And honestly, a GT1030 costs more than that these days, so it's a good backup option.
