Is buying a new Alienware/Dell OEM 5080 for $900 worth it?

I'm considering getting an Alienware/Dell OEM 5080 for $900, and it's brand new. Here's what I know: it's come directly out of the machine, has only had about 10 minutes of use, and I can trial it for a week. The person selling it seems trustworthy, and the price seems decent. However, I'm concerned about a few things. There's no warranty since it's OEM, I need to purchase the 12VHPWR cable separately, and it's still a significant amount to spend. Should I go for it?

Seems solid as long as it fits your needs! Generally, I don't think a warranty will be an issue unless you push the card hard with overclocking.

I'd say go for it! There is some risk, as with any electronic, but you're saving a good amount, and the trial period gives you a chance to test it out first.

If you can try it for a week, that’s a huge plus! Just figure out how much losing $900 would hurt you before deciding. If it’s a minimal impact, why not?
