Has anyone else noticed that ChatGPT has been acting a bit strange over the last week? For instance, today it insisted that it was Monday the 20th—when I asked for the year, it said 2025. Even weirder, it claimed that 5/20/25 would be a Tuesday but treated it as if it were a Monday throughout our chat. I've also seen it 'forget' simple instructions in follow-up prompts. When I ask it to remove em dashes from a paragraph, sometimes the output remains unchanged, or it even adds more em dashes! Despite my attempts to lock this in, it seems resistant. Has anyone else been facing issues since the recent update?

I just cancelled my subscription and am looking into Gemini instead. This recent experience has just made keeping ChatGPT feel pointless.
I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way! I keep telling it to remember, yet somehow, it still sneaks in an em dash every now and then.
Right? The em dashes seem to have a life of their own. I've had the same experience where it claims to have made changes but just gives me the exact same text. I find myself deleting entire conversations because they just go around in circles.

I've heard it's possible to export memories and import them to other platforms like Claude or maybe even Gemini. Did you export everything before switching, or are you just starting from scratch?
