Is Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5 RAM Worth the Investment for Video Editing and Gaming?

I'm considering buying the Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB DDR5 RAM at 6000Hz with a total of 96GB for high-quality video editing and gaming. I'm wondering if it's really worth the amount I'm spending on it, or can I find other RAM options that offer similar performance at a lower price?

Keep in mind that the height of this RAM could interfere with some air coolers, so check your setup. If you're looking for alternatives, I've got a list of other options for 6000C30 RAM that are cheaper too! Just be wary about getting that much capacity working with four sticks, not everyone has luck with that.

I saw some Corsair Vengeance 6000 CL36 RAM. Do you think the CL36 vs. CL30 will actually matter much?

I found some on Amazon that's CL30 and pretty compact too. Might solve any clearance issues with CPU fans!

Real talk: all RAM within the same specs is usually very similar in performance. A lot of the pricier stuff just has a nice look to it. If you want to save some money, I've had good luck with off-brands that use the same chips as the big names. Just make sure to check warranties and reviews for customer service!

Got it, thanks! Now I'm deciding between the Corsair Vengeance 96GB 6000Hz RAM, which is CL36, and the Dominator at CL30. What's the real difference I should expect?

I found a smaller, cheaper option too, which should keep my clearance woes at bay!

Honestly, the performance is pretty comparable to other 6000MHz CL30 RAM. You're mainly paying for the RGB lighting and brand name. If you want the flashy look, go for it, but you might be able to find something functional for less cash.
