I'm building my first PC and I've got 2x16GB DDR4 Vengeance sticks. I just purchased the 9070 XT Taichi and I'm planning to get the 7800X3D. I'm curious if using DDR4 RAM is feasible for this setup.

It's just not possible; DDR4 and DDR5 aren't compatible. If you already have DDR4, you might want to look into a different CPU like the 5700X3D that works with B550 motherboards. Right now, DDR5 prices are pretty high!
Unfortunately, DDR4 memory won’t work with the 7800X3D. That CPU uses the AM5 platform, which is designed exclusively for DDR5 RAM.
Just to reiterate, the RAM won't fit at all on an AM5 board since it’s built solely for DDR5. Just make sure to match up your components properly.
Nope, you can't use DDR4 with the 7800X3D since AM5 only supports DDR5. You won't even be able to fit DDR4 sticks into an AM5 motherboard!
