I'm planning to buy a new PC for video editing this Black Friday, but the prices for DDR5 RAM are really shocking and making me reconsider. Is there any chance to find DDR5 at a reasonable price?

It might be a good idea to look for used DDR5. Prices aren't expected to drop anytime soon, especially with so much RAM being bought up by AI companies. You're likely to find better deals on second-hand options than brand new.
Yeah, unfortunately, used DDR5 is still pretty pricey. It's better than new, but don't expect it to be cheap.
I know, right? It's nuts how expensive it still is, even used!
Honestly, from what I've seen, DDR5 is disappearing fast even at decent prices. If you spot a good deal, it's sold out before you even have a chance to click!
What exactly would you consider a decent price?

But didn't AI just become a huge thing recently? Those prices weren’t so high a couple of months ago.
