I'm having a lot of trouble with the DeepSeek server. It seems to throw the "the servers are busy" message every time I try to do something complex. I've tested it on three different accounts, and the same issue happens every time. Why does it get so overloaded when the tasks get more complicated?

It sounds like you're running into a bandwidth issue. I noticed that if you don't use the API, it can become really slow, especially with more complex tasks.
I remember when R1 was released, the server got really bogged down for a couple of weeks. Right now, it's generally performing better, but those busy signals can still pop up when there's a spike in users.
I've been using DeepSeek since September 2024 and I've only seen the "server is busy" message a handful of times, even as a frequent user of R1. Maybe it depends on the time of day or how many people are online.
Is it just me or does it feel like I hit this issue way more often?
What's the API? I don’t think I’m using it and had no idea it could make a difference!
