Is GPU sag a problem with my new graphics card?

I recently purchased a Sapphire Pulse 9060 XT with 16GB of memory. While I haven't noticed any significant sag, my previous GPU was a smaller 6600, which makes me a bit cautious. I plan to get a sag bracket, but since it's Friday, it won't arrive until Monday. Can I still use my computer for gaming in the meantime, or could the heat cause any damage?

Heat isn’t really an issue with GPU sag itself. You should be fine using your PC for gaming until the bracket arrives. Just keep an eye on temperatures—play it safe!

What heat are you talking about? They might be worried about the load when gaming, but shouldn't be a problem right now.

If sag is a concern, a temporary fix could be cutting a straw to support it until your bracket arrives. It’s not a permanent solution, but it can help in the meantime!

The 9060 XT isn’t such a massive card that it absolutely needs a support bracket. If it makes you feel better to get one, go for it, but it’s not a must!

Yeah, I’m probably going to get it just in case. Worst case, I can use it for something else later!
