Is Hyper-V Reliable for Linux VMs Like Ubuntu? Share Your Experiences!

I'm exploring the idea of using Hyper-V for our infrastructure, but I have concerns since most of our virtual machines run on Linux, specifically Ubuntu. I prefer Windows, which is why Hyper-V appeals to me. However, I've read mixed feedback about compatibility and performance with Linux environments. I'd love to hear your experiences, specifically any issues you've faced or best practices you've found when running predominantly Linux VMs on Hyper-V.

Hyper-V generally works well with Linux VMs, including Ubuntu. In our setup, we have a diverse environment and haven't faced any issues with Linux VMs as long as we keep our hypervisor's infrastructure separate from user workloads. This means having a dedicated Active Directory forest and a separate network, which makes it easier to manage.

What kind of workloads do you have running on those Linux servers?
