Is it a good idea to add more RAM or should I stick with two larger sticks?

I'm currently using 2x16GB DDR5 RAM in slots 2 and 4, and I'm thinking about adding 2 more sticks of the same type. However, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the information out there. Can someone break it down for me? Is it better to just go for 2x32GB sticks and only fill 2 slots? Also, why might having 4 slots filled be a bad idea if I enable XMP? I have an i9 14900k, just in case that helps clarify my setup.

I'd recommend going for the 2x32GB option. Intel CPUs can handle 4x16GB, but the effectiveness really depends on how strong the memory controller is. Recent models don't seem to be the best at managing that many sticks, honestly!
