Is it a good idea to buy a cheap GTX 1050 Ti?

I'm considering buying a used GTX 1050 Ti for a super low price—about 250% cheaper than usual! I currently have an i5 6500 and 8GB of RAM. My goal is to game at 1080p, mainly with older AAA titles, and I ideally want around 30-60 fps. Should I grab this deal now and hold on to it for a year while prices for the GTX 1660s go down, or should I wait and invest in something better?

Honestly, the GTX 1050 Ti might not be the best choice if you're looking at newer AAA titles. Some games won't even run on it, which totally defeats the purpose. I'd recommend holding out for something like the RTX 2060 or a 3060 if you want to future-proof your rig. It might cost a bit more, but you'll thank yourself later!

Yeah, I’ve heard some older games can run at decent fps on low settings. I'm really just trying to find a middle ground until prices drop for something better.
