Is it a good time to buy a GPU, or should I wait?

Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to build a new PC soon but can't afford all the parts just yet. I heard that GPU prices might rise soon due to RAM shortages, and I'm eyeing the 9060 XT 16GB for my build. Should I snatch up the GPU now before prices go up, or is it better to wait until I can buy everything at once? Thanks in advance for your insights!

Just buy the GPU now if your current one can't keep up. Waiting only risks missing out on a good deal and further price hikes. Plus, with the RAM prices being unpredictable, you might regret waiting.

It depends on your timeline. If you're waiting for a whole year, then maybe hold off. But if it's just a month or two, it might be smart to grab that GPU now since prices are pretty low but climbing fast.

If you're planning to build soon, I'd say go for it! The 9060 XT 16GB is expected to rise in price, possibly by around $40 in the next month or two.

People recommend buying now, especially if you can test it right away—don’t you have an older PC to try it out on? The installation's quick and can save you from future headaches.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend waiting. Just get what you need for your performance goals. Prices are going up, so if you find a good deal, jump on it!
