I've gotten back into PC building after a long break and I have two setups with AMD Ryzen processors: one with a 9950X3D and the other with a 9800X3D. I'm looking to swap just the CPUs between these two systems. My main concern is whether Windows 11 will have issues with the license after I make this hardware change. Any advice on this?

When swapping the CPUs, it should generally go smoothly. Your RAM may need to retrain, and you might have to check the BIOS for some initial settings. Since you've already been using an X3D processor, Windows should handle the scheduling just fine.

Thanks for that! I was worried because I had a problem before with Windows not recognizing my system after a CPU upgrade, and Microsoft support ended up making me buy a new license.
