I've noticed that when I'm browsing Google and I open a Gmail tab, my CPU temperature goes up from 50 degrees Celsius to around 60 degrees Celsius. Is this a normal temperature increase? I'm using Windows 11 with a Ryzen 5 9600X processor.

It's pretty common for your CPU temperature to rise by 10 degrees when you launch any program, including Gmail. However, 50°C at idle could be a bit on the high side unless it's super hot outside. If you're in 93°F weather without AC, that makes sense! Just make sure to keep an eye on your temp, especially during intense tasks.

Opening applications generally pushes your CPU a little, so a jump to 60°C isn't alarming. Just remember that your idle temp seems a bit high—it could be the heat outside affecting your system!

That increase is likely because you're running Chrome, which tends to use more resources. It's not unusual at all, just typical behavior for browsers when they start loading new tabs.
