Is it normal for my GPU to make a clicking sound?

I recently noticed that my Ventus 3x 5090 graphics card has some noticeable coil whine, which seems to be getting a bit better. However, I've also heard an audible click when the GPU ramps up. Is this normal behavior for a graphics card? I'm curious if this could be related to my power supply unit (PSU), which has also made some grumbling noises.

It's kind of unusual for a GPU to make a clicking noise. That sound is more likely coming from your PSU, which could have a relay that clicks when it engages for extra power. It's a pretty common thing to happen but might be worth keeping an eye on to ensure there aren't bigger issues lurking.

I get what you mean! Is there a way to test and see if it's actually the PSU or the GPU making the sound? I thought coil whine just vibrates but who knows, maybe there's something else going on.
