Is It Okay to Leave a PCIe Back Panel Cover on My GPU?

I recently got a new RTX 5060 Ti GPU installed by a shop, but they only took off one PCIe back panel instead of two. I'm not sure if that's an issue or not. From what I understand, if it doesn't block anything important, I can just leave it as is. What do you all think?

Hey, it's totally fine to leave that extra cover on as long as it doesn’t block any ports on your GPU. Just make sure there's enough room for the display connections, and you should be good to go!

Thanks for the tips, everyone! I ended up removing the extra panel myself. Fingers crossed this gives me a nice FPS boost in ray traced games! Just joking, but it feels good to fix it!

I wouldn’t trust that store again! But just so you know, having that cover could potentially put some strain on the PCB of the GPU. It might be better to remove it to avoid any issues later.
