I had a video call with my girlfriend this morning on WhatsApp, and I heard some noises on her end that sounded like someone else was on a call with her. Is it even possible for an iPhone to manage two separate calls at the same time? I wasn't on hold or anything; it just sounded like there was another person involved.

It’s more likely that someone else was just in the room with her. I mean, it's pretty unusual for your girlfriend to be on another call without telling you. That’d be kind of odd, right?
WhatsApp Video calls are technically not the same as traditional phone calls. While you're on a WhatsApp video call, you're using an app to chat. So, while someone is on an actual phone call, they can still use other apps like WhatsApp for video chatting. I think that’s how it works, but I could be mistaken.
Yeah, but WhatsApp calls do show up in your call log alongside actual phone calls, so they might count as calls in a way.
I can guarantee there was nobody else in the room with her. Just curious if the iPhone can actually handle two calls simultaneously.
