Hey everyone! I'm looking to transition my main setup from Windows to Linux, but I'm really dependent on several Windows-only software tools that I need for my work. I've been dabbling with Linux for a while, using Mint and Ubuntu on some old machines and VMs. As someone in IT, I've even helped friends shift to Linux from Windows, mainly for browsing. However, my main issue is that I rely on a lot of specific programs with no Linux alternatives available. For example, tools related to gaming that are not accommodated on Linux. I've created a Windows VM that I'll keep offline to preserve my tools, but I'm concerned about how to effectively make the switch to Linux while still having access to what I need. Any advice on handling this dependency? Thanks!
