Is It Safe to Leave My PSU Exposed Temporarily?

I recently built a PC for my girlfriend, but the power supply unit (PSU) is too large for the case and doesn't fit. I've tested everything outside the case, and it works fine. Now I'm wondering if it's okay to leave the PSU exposed while I wait for a new one. Can it stay outside the case for a few days without any issues?

I've run setups in open air for months! Just be cautious – if a sandstorm comes through, it might not be great, but generally speaking, you're good!

Yeah, it's totally fine to leave it exposed for a bit. Just make sure nothing can touch it and keep any pets away. It shouldn't be a problem at all!

No worries! It's perfectly okay since there are plenty of setups that run without a case. Just avoid touching it while it's on, and you’ll be all set.
