Is it safe to run an R7 5700x CPU with a GTX 1650 GPU for a few months?

Hey everyone! I'm not super tech-savvy, but I'm passionate about building PCs. I'm planning to upgrade my CPU from an R5 3500 to an R7 5700x soon, while still using my GTX 1650 GPU. I have a new 4060 on the way as a present from a friend, but that won't arrive until either December 2025 or January 2026. My question is, will running the R7 5700x with the GTX 1650 for a couple of months potentially damage the CPU or any other components? I've already updated my other parts, including an 850 Watts PSU and an MSI MPG B550 motherboard, along with 32GB of RAM. I mainly play games like Valorant, Dota 2, LoL, and occasionally Apex. On average, I spend about 4-5 hours gaming on weekends and 2-3 hours on weekdays. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Bottlenecking definitely won't damage your components! It's more of a performance issue rather than a harmful one. If it makes you feel better, you can absolutely deal with it for a few months without worrying about damaging anything. Save your upgrade funds for a better GPU when you can!

Yeah, it's just performance lag, not actual damage. Bottlenecks are super common! You just might find certain games won't run as smoothly as you'd like.
